OVERVIEW

 

     Encourage the heart is encouraging people for positive behavior or basically recognizing people for acts of kindness. So a way you could use a reward as an example as a way to encourage the heart or something like a note of recognition. But the difference between reward power and Encouraging the heart is reward power is encouraging people to act or do something with the promise of a reward. Encouraging the Heart is you witnessing something or experiencing something that you appreciate or you thought was nice and then recognizing them for that act of whatever they did. In the future, some ways that you can encourage the heart is just a little note recognizing the actions of a person or in person thanking them for their kindness. 

DEMONSTRATION

 

     To be honest, I didn't really encourage the heart this quarter in class but I plan to work on this and encourage the heart in the future because I've failed to do it this quarter. In our project, I encouraged the heart by thanking our team member for her contributions because she had the most followers earned at a little below 40.

 

REFLECTION

 

     I don't really think I was successful at encouraging the heart during this project except for the instance when I congratulated and thanked the highest earner. But this doesn't mean I didn't learn how to encourage the heart, I just sadly wasn't confident enough to do it yet.
